I know an eating disorder makes it hard for us to eat, and maybe you can’t think of any safe foods either. But I decided to make a small list, it may not be the best but this what I could think of at the top of my head !!
Green tea - So so good for you! It’s loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have major effects on the body! It improves brain function and it’s a fat burning drink!
Blueberries- Blueberries activate fat burning genes which are great for losing belly fat and weight loss! Plus they’re great in smoothies or just alone !
Popcorn!- yes I said it!! :D Popcorn! Homemade popcorn is actually very low in calories! A generous 3 cups of popcorn ( NO BUTTER OR SALT) has less than 100 calories !!😀
Almonds- Almonds or any other nut with skin attached can help build muscle and reduce cravings !!
Chili Peppers - Chili peppers , sorta like green tea, SPIKE up your metabolism which is great for when you’re trying to lose weight !!!
Greek Yogurt -Greek yogurt has almost twice as much protein as other yogurts.!! It takes longer to leave your stomach, keeping you fuller longer. Plus, you burn more calories digesting protein than carbs. Choose nonfat, low-fat, and low-sugar types! ( Web. MD)
Grapefruit-it may not have many fat burning properties, but it’s a great low calorie snack that can help you feel fuller longer !!
Watermelon- Foods that are high in water, take up more room in your stomach!! This then signals the body that you’ve had enough to eat and leaves less room for other foods! Am I the only one who felt super full after eating like two slices of watermelon?! That’s why!
Peanut Butter- Peanut butter won’t necessarily burn fat, but it slow down cravings for those junk foods we don’t like ! The protein and fiber keeps you fuller longer, even preventing the sugar crashes that often lead to binge eating. So here’s a healthier choice! Just watch your serving size!!
Pretty much most fruits and veggies are good fat burning foods ! They contain lots of water which will keep you full! Green tea of course, and maybe it’ll be good to have some hot peppers every now and then to boost your metabolism!! I hope this helped you all in some way! 💓💓
